Shot from Road 2000 in the Mazandaran Province of Iran in May 2016. The road begins from sea level (Caspian Sea) and ascends to roughly 2000 meters, hence, the name. This photo was shot looking southeast toward the villages of Naras, Esel Mahalleh, and Sardabon, and the 4175-meter tall Sialan peak in the Alborz mountain range.

An experimental creation for me. The sky is of course artificially created by post processing another sky I had shot. I thought the combination turned out interesting.
